Concert sound & stage lighting

Sound and light, tuned by an engineer

Stagebot started with an audio engineer and a serious addiction to production gear. Every system we deploy is held to that standard.

Where it started

An engineer first

Before there was a Stagebot, Chris Canada owned a large recording studio in Myrtle Beach, SC, was the house engineer at House of Blues Myrtle Beach, and toured with national acts. They studied acoustics, audio engineering, and entertainment business and licensing at Berklee College of Music.

The gear kept growing, the shows kept getting bigger, and the stage came next. The ear is still the point: every show we touch gets tuned, not just turned on.

Sound

Concert audio

  • The PA is matched to the show: RCF J8 line arrays for smaller gigs, up to d&b audiotechnik and L-Acoustics systems for large crowds and touring riders
  • Allen & Heath SQ5 at front of house, Behringer Wing in monitor world, and an X32 Rack when the footprint is tight
  • Front-of-house engineers with thousands of shows behind them
  • System tuning with Smaart measurement software
  • Sound level logging through the show, for towns with noise ordinances

Light

Any lighting package

From a simple wash for a daytime festival to a full rig for a touring headliner, we build the lighting to the show and the budget.

  • Basic package: IP-rated ADJ SixPar wash fixtures, pre-rigged on the SL100, rain or shine
  • Bigger shows: moving lights, effects, haze, and a lighting designer at the desk
  • Touring riders matched or cross-rented through trusted regional partners
  • Clean DMX and power runs, organized loom, no exposed mess

Power planning

Full sound and lights need about 12 circuits. We plan the power with your site, or bring in a generator.

Help with the advance

We help work through input lists, stage plots, and riders before load-in. The advance and the run of show stay with you, the client, and we build our day around them.

Site placement

We work out where the stage goes, the truck path in, and where power lands, so show day starts with a plan.

Bringing your own production? Stage-only rentals are welcome. Send your rigging plan and we will confirm loads and placement.
